Dr. Carla M. Taylor is a confirmed specialist in the field of special education and an advanced forward Student Supports' Specialist. She has a passion for students with disabilities receiving maximum supports and services, compliance driven data, continuous school improvement programs that support and advance programs for all students, and successful achievement outcomes that bridge the gap. 

 

Throughout her 21-year career as an educator leader and community partner, she has always put students' needs first, including providing specialized/differentiated, teacher retention, professional learning sessions for educators and leaders in the largest school districts in Georgia and neighboring states.

Dr. Taylor is the CEO of DeCASA Project Group LLC.

Erica Sutton is a Certified Meditation Teacher and Certified Reiki II Practitioner.  She is also personally trained in Kemetic yoga, and a member of the Vedic meditation community with personal training under Light Watkins.

 

Her certifications were archived through Tuskegee University and Living Life Limitlessly University with Althea Lawton-Thompson. Erica has used her gifts specifically to bring healing to black and brown women in her community, by teaching the practice of self-care, through the holistic practices of yoga and meditation.

 

During the pandemic, Erica has offered free services to patients with Multiple Sclerosis, aiding in the relief of anxiety, depression, and symptom management. Erica is clinical research coordinator and has worked with patients in the medical field for over 25 years. 

Heddie was given the gift of poetry two weeks after dreaming the events of 911.  Heddie was licensed and ordained in 2013, which helped opened doors for her unique ministry.

Heddie J is the owner of A Poetic Ministree, Inc. by way of Poetic Creations and Recitations. 

 

Her first book, “Just Bee You”, was just published on September 11, nineteen years after receiving the gift of Poetry.  She uses the poetry to “Bring You Peace” while speaking to help you ‘Just Bee You’. Her motto says it all, ‘Words for the Soul, Leaving You Whole.” Heddie thanks you for allowing the poetry to minister to your soul.

Author, Educator, Pastor, Motivational Speaker and Organizational Development Strategist. Rodrick began a career in entertainment that would send him across the world. The experiences learned during this time have cultivated the understanding of what it means to lead and guide. 

 

As an educator he understands the meaning of giving it all you have so students get the education you desire fro them to have. 

 

He is currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration with future hopes of pursuing and a local government seat. 

Apryle Gates is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 plus years of experience in the field of Medical Social Work. She is a Georgia native and the proud mother of two daughters. Her educational background is a BS in Human Relations Counseling & Biblical Studies from Atlanta Christian College; and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Her hobbies include self-care and time with family. Ms. Gates has worked with various medical organizations such as Piedmont Hospital, Emory University Hospital, Hospice/Palliative Care Organizations, and currently with Grady Memorial Hospital. She has had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, social climates, and various community organizations.  Her mission statement is “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” – Maya Angelou.  Her mission is to make a connection with others that will be a catalyst for change.
